Laser Weeder

Carbon Robotics’ LaserWeeder uses advanced engineering that combines AI-powered computer vision, high-precision robotics, and multiple industrial CO₂ lasers to identify and destroy weeds without disturbing crops or soil.

Mounted on a tractor-sized platform, it scans the ground in real time using high-resolution cameras and deep learning models trained to distinguish crops from weeds.

Once identified, targeted laser bursts—each lasting a few milliseconds—deliver lethal energy to the weed's growing point with millimeter accuracy.

The system can eliminate up to 200,000 weeds per hour, reducing the need for herbicides and manual labor while improving long-term soil health and crop yields.
