Episode 2 of Deck Profiles: SV1 - JTG will be about Dusknoir Luxray.

If you have been following the Pokemon TCG for the Scarlet and Violet era, you are familiar with 3 cards: Dusknoir, Luxray, and Reversal Energy. If you have also been following the Pokemon TCG in the Scarlet and Violet era, you probably haven't thought that these 3 cards could be played together. Well, they can, and not only can they be played together, they should be played together. This video will help shed some light on that.

Dusknoir, since its release, has been the subject of controversy as it has allowed for some pretty oppressive boardstates to be created. These boardstates were not oppressive because they were inherently oppressive, but because they were faced up against not-so-oppressive boardstates. Dusknoir, ironically, could've have fixed that. But not with a Charizard or a Terapagos, but with a another Dusknoir. Yes, Dusknoir was meant to attack on its own!

Not only can it attack on its own, it has better damage modifiers to facilitate that. Lillie's Clefairy ex, for example, with a Defiance Band allows it to one shot Dragapult ex, the best deck in format (by a long shot).

Don't be daunted by this unfortunate mess known as "SV1 - JTG". This format is very elegant and for the next 6 videos, I will be putting on an exposé of that.

Thank you for listening, and I hope you continue to support my work.
