Sins of Our Fathers: It wasn't Protestants who carried out the Inquisitions

NOWHERE in my Bible did Jesus Christ say to force anyone to become a follower under the threat of death or torture. False conversion is not conversion at all. Real conversion is a heart thing and cannot be forced. This should be your first clue that the unholy Roman Catholic Church is an apostate, pagan CULT; NOT a member of the Body of Christ.

("Conversos" refers to Jews in Spain and Portugal who converted to Christianity, often under duress, during the late 14th and 15th centuries. The term also applies to their descendants. The term "converso" is Spanish for "convert" and was used to distinguish these individuals from those who remained Jewish.)

The unholy Inquisitions of the Roman Catholic Church began in the 12th century and were created to root out and punish heresy throughout Europe and even the Americas. The Inquisition(s) didn't end in medieval Europe, they continued against native peoples on the North American & South American continents well into the 20th century.
