David Tennant becomes the latest in a long line of Harry Potter actors to comment on J.K. Rowling's favorite pastime. The avid trans activist doesn't wish the author any harm, but the 10th Doctor just wants her to be quiet and let the inmates run the asylum.

John Lithgow, the future Albus Dumbledore, has taken a different approach by not bending to the small but vocal mob and simply posits the question of why should her opinions matter in regards to him acting in a show?
