"When it comes to the relief of the struggles of real people," Democrats "have been timid, not bold," Governor JB Pritzker (D-IL) said in remarks at the 2025 McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club dinner, an annual fundraiser for the New Hampshire Democratic Party.

Governor Pritzker's remarks calling on his party to more forcefully oppose Republicans and the Trump White House came during his keynote address at the New Hampshire fundraiser, notably in the first state in the nation to host a presidential primary each year.

His appearance is more evidence that he is interested in a 2028 presidential run, though he did not confirm any potential interest at the event. Following his remarks, Governor Pritzker met and took pictures with many of those in attendance, which included some of the state's most loyal activists.
