The ultimate method to overcome ignorance is wisdom that understands reality. Very, very important. Light eliminates darkness, heat gets rid of cold, and as the Dalai Lama is saying, just making prayers does not, is not sufficient to overcome our suffering. He says, it's by understanding reality. Understanding reality, this is something that we take on. If we are practicing Buddhism and practicing meditation, this is a path of working towards understanding wisdom, understanding reality. We can thank the Dalai Lama for this very important teaching
