This is a video of our current chancellor, Rachel Reeves. It is difficult to gauge a person in such a short time, but from what I have seen, it won't be getting any better!

The incoming government has been given an impossible task of undoing 14 years of Tory austerity, and it is unlikely to be undone in the first 5 years.

With a mountain to climb, and an impossible ask, of rectifying the issues, it looks like the current labour government will make all the right noises, as if doing something positive, but we all know, it is tantamount to shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.

The public will go on suffering, and continue to blame everyone in society, except the the right people...the politicians, who will line their pockets, and "swan off", at the next general election, content with their selfish objectives.

To quote Thomas Jefferson “The government you elect is the government you deserve.” This would be true, unfortunately, all the current parties are ALL a bunch of Schadenfreuders.
