Dear Viewer:

A couple of followers of Jesus of Nazareth are walking along a dirt road to a small village called Emmaus. They were dragging along, despondent because their Jesus had just been crucified (Luke 24).

They heard that he was not in the tomb where he had been placed. They had heard the story of the angels telling the ladies not to fear. They didn't know what to make of it all.

A stranger caught up with them. He was wondering why they were so down in the dumps. As they walked, the stranger pointed out the local flowers and trees, and what they meant. They were all mentioned in the Old Testament.

The Good Book doesn't tell us exactly what was said on the walk. Do you ever wonder what was said?

They finally got to the village and ordered some supper. As they broke bread, they saw just exactly who the stranger was. We don't have to wait to remember the Good Lord when we meet and break bread, the beauty of His creation can remind us of Him, we just need to open our eyes.
