Now that China has stood up to the Trump tariff terror campaign, it is necessary to shut out some of the noise, and zoom in on the practical realities, and platforms, that are shaping a post-US$ dominated global financial system. While big buzzwords abound, dedollarisation, deglobalisation, etc, today we are looking at the Chinese alternative to SWIFT - the CIPS international interbank payment system.

We also get official confirmation, from the proverbial horse’s mouth, that North Korean soldiers fought side by side with the Russian friends, to liberate Kursk from the invading Ukrainazis. A while back in Blindspot 131 we asked whether reports on North Korean forces supporting Russia was speculative. Well, all reasons for speculation are now removed.
