Idols from biblical times looked different than they do today. In scripture we see Asherah poles, the golden calf, and many more. But what do they look like today? For some it may be a television show, the beach, or even a car. Even as Christians, we can have idols and not realize it. Scripture tells that we are to put nothing and no one before God and others before ourselves. Is God first in your life, then your spouse, children, and finally yourself. Christ came as a servant and as Christians we are to be “Christ-like”.
