Apr. 28, 1965 - The most lopsided game of the Stanley Cup finals — a 6-0 rout of the Black Hawks by the Canadiens — also produced the series’ first knockout last night, scored by John Ferguson of Montreal. He floored Eric Nesterenko early in the first period. The fight started when Nesterenko smacked Ferguson over the head with his stick. 14,762 fans at the Montreal Forum watched the Habs take a 3-2 series lead.
