IMITATE NO ONE OR NOTHING BUT JESUS

5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY GOOD FRIENDS!!!
Do you ever wonder why Paul said what he said and this morning’s scripture? I think the reason behind Paul saying this was because there were people within the church at Thessalonica, who so strongly believed that the Lord was coming back soon, they felt it was no longer important or necessary to earn a living for themselves, so they were leeching off of the other brothers and sisters in the church. The point Paul was trying to make in this, was that he wanted the believers in Thessalonica to pattern themselves after Jesus, but they can’t do that if they're not earning their own keep, leeching off of others, and sticking their noses where it doesn't belong. Most of all, he wanted them to be godly examples to the younger believers, so that they could see how to imitate Christ.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of this morning scripture on what it means to imitate Christ, and not a denomination or a person, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that it will inspire you to want to be a godly example to young believers, through imitating nothing or no one but Jesus Christ. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will get you to thinking about not only the godly influences in your life but will motivate you to want to be one to others too.

My prayer for you tonight is this. If you are someone who is being a busy body, a disruptor, and unwilling to work for a living, I pray that this passage of scripture lights a fire under you, and you stop leeching and start earning your keep. I'm not coming after anyone that's physically unable to work, but I'm speaking to those who are physically able bodied and can work but refuse to. I also want to reach out to those who want to be a godly influence to others, those that have had godly influences in their lives, and I pray that they will reflect that godliness to those that are around them. Remember, that you are the only godly example of Jesus this world sees, so you want to make sure that you represent Christ well. Not just to this lost and dying world, but to your brothers and sisters too.
