Car Ferry sets sail for repairs

The SS Badger Car Ferry will make its way to Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin for repairs to her propeller shaft in preparation of the upcoming sailing season. The 410-foot ship will sail, under its own power, where it will undergo a propeller shaft bearing repair. The Badger is owned and operated by Lake Michigan Carferry. The 2025 sailing season begins Friday, May 16. David Barr Michigan News Source.
