Biohacking update: Zoloft = weight gain, no libido, worse OCD

Ever tried something new for your health only to have your body respond with "umm...that's gonna be a NO from me"? 😅

Last month I switched antidepressants hoping for better OCD management. Instead? I gained 6 pounds (eating the SAME foods!), my OCD went into overdrive making me feel like Melvin from "As Good As It Gets" (IYKYK), and my libido that had FINALLY improved with TRT? Completely vanished.

But here's the thing – this "fail" was actually a WIN in disguise.

Why? Because now I KNOW what doesn't work for MY unique body. I grieved briefly, then called my psychiatrist: "Bruh, this Zoloft situation is NOT it. Back to Lexapro we go!"

The good news is that I'm seeing these all of these issues starting to reverse just 1 week into switching back to the rx that was working before! :-)

Your body is constantly communicating with you. Those "failures" are actually valuable data points showing you what IS working by contrast.

After 10+ years of biohacking, I've learned that keeping detailed journals, taking breaks between experiments, and testing one thing at a time (with professional guidance) are absolute game-changers.

You're not failing – you're gathering intel for your personal health blueprint. That frustrating reaction? It's your body's way of steering you toward what truly works.
