If we have MEDBEDS then why are our aging Veterans still dropping like flies ?

~ Tom Trefts : Gulf War Chairman For The National Vietnam & Gulf War Veterans Coalition.

Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness that I share with you that my dear friend, Artie Muller, Executive Director of ROLLING THUNDER passed away yesterday evening. I had spoken to him earlier yesterday and his breathing continued to be quite labored. It had been necessary for him to have oxygen for quite some time and yesterday he indicated that earlier in the week he had two episodes. I am grateful that I had an opportunity to speak with him again. Though we worked together on the POW-MIA and veterans issues, as friends it became about family - he was devoted to his grandchildren, his giving me wonderful advice on home repair - he was a superb carpenter and craftsman, and about model railroading, his favorite pastime - other than riding. Artie will indeed be missed.
May Our Lord Bless him and keep him and make His Face to shine upon him. May our friends and compatriots and all our unreturned prisoners of war and missing in action who have passed on welcome him into eternity:

Dolores Alfond
Ted Sampley

Larry O'Daniel
Tom Burch
Rep Billy Hendon
Rev. John Steer
Larry Stark, former POW

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
We few, we very few........we band of brothers.
