Earthquake? Conference cancelled?

The Web3 community in Bangkok said: we’re still building.
Our Bitcoin.com crew (@alunstern + @salss666) was on the ground during what should’ve been #SEABW — and what happened instead was something even more meaningful:
– Builders hosting their own talks across the city :hammer_and_wrench:
– Projects like @monad_xyz + @lfginc repping the infra movement
– Legendary vibes at the @pudgypenguins booth
– A finale to remember at the @0xshardlab community meet :sparkles:
Bangkok showed us that when central plans fall apart, decentralized ones rise up.

When Southeast Asia Blockchain Week was cancelled due to the Myanmar earthquake, most expected things to go quiet in Bangkok.
They were wrong.
Despite the risks, the Web3 builder community showed up in full force — hosting independent side events, networking sessions, and community meetups across the city.
The Bitcoin.com team (Alun Stern & Sal Selamat-Sim) was there to capture the moment:
• Projects like @Monad_xyz and @LFGincorporated rallied developers
• @pudgypenguins drew crowds with their community presence
• @0xShardLab wrapped things up with a classy, founder-forward community night
What began as a cancelled event turned into a powerful reflection of what this space is really about: decentralized coordination, commitment to the mission, and a builder-first ethos.
