Lucknow: FIR Filed Against Neha Singh Rathore Over Social Media Post on Pahalgam Attack

An FIR has been filed against folk singer Neha Singh Rathore at Hazratganj police station, Lucknow, over her social media posts questioning the Pahalgam terror attack.

The complaint, lodged by poet Abhay Pratap Singh alias Abhay Singh Nirbhik, accuses Rathore of making objectionable posts from her handle @NehaSinghRathore, allegedly inciting communal tension and harming national integrity. The FIR also claims her tweets are going viral in Pakistan and being used against India.

Neha faces charges under multiple sections of the IPC and IT Act 69A. Police have begun investigations.

Her remarks have sparked nationwide controversy, with some accusing her of politicizing the Pahalgam attack ahead of the Bihar elections, while her statements have drawn praise in Pakistani media.
