Billie the Kid...and the Lost Amphitheatre of New Mexico

For Several years local resident put on the Billie the Kid Pageant at a beautifull amphitheater near San Jon, New Mexico. The state gave a whopping 2.5 million dollars to construct an amazing venue complete with a stage, grandstand, lighting, gift store and more....For the last 40 years it has sat in ruin, but some faint hope about using the theatre has sprung up i n Quay County, New Mexico.
