Zelda BOTW Master Mode 5 - What If I do the Blue Flame Challenge before they ask me?

I'm playing Breath of the Wild on MASTER MODE for the first time on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-7PM Eastern Time, 4-6 Central.

Last week I made it to Hateno Village. I'm anxious to get to the Hateno Village Research Center. So anxious, in fact, that I don't even want to waste all that time talking about my needing to light the furnace. Why don't I just go light the furnace before I even go in. And if I do that...how will they react?
