‘Sword Of The Sea’ – New Game From Makers Of ‘Journey’ And ‘ABZU’ – Reveal Trailer

Sword of the Sea is the new game from developer Giant Squid who made the atmospheric underwater game ABZU, the action-adventure title The Pathless, and who’s art director also worked on Journey from developer thatgamecompany. That’s pretty good pedigree. Sword of the Sea is inspired by snowboarding and skateboarding games, but set in the ruins of a lost civilization where you can get the feel of extreme sports over sand, lava, and water set to an adventure story complete with half-pipes and jumps. Also, Austin Wintory returns as the music director.

Sword of the Sea releases sometime in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
