VibeFoundry - The Moonshiner’s Last Stand | Southern Rock
Out in the deep southern backwoods, where the law don’t reach and the whiskey flows free, one man stands his ground. "The Moonshiner’s Last Stand" is a tale of rebellion, survival, and the outlaw spirit that refuses to die. He’s the last of his kind, a whiskey runner who won’t bow to the Feds, living by his own rules in the shadows of the pines.
🔥 This ain't just a song—it’s a Southern legend set to music. With gritty electric guitars, deep swampy bass, and pounding drums, this track captures the raw power of outlaw country and Southern rock. Lyrics:
Deep in the holler where the pine trees grow,
There’s an old still running, but the law don’t know.
Granddaddy’s recipe, tried and true,
Copper coils steaming in the midnight dew.
They sent the Feds, but they ain't too wise,
He’s got a shotgun and the devil’s eyes.
Knows these woods like the back of his hand,
Ain’t no badge gonna take his land.
He’s the last of the breed, a ghost in the trees,
Brewing fire in the hills on a midnight breeze.
Won’t bow down, won’t break, won’t run,
One last batch, then he’s done.
He’s got traps in the mud, got a knife in his boot,
Knows every shortcut and backroad route.
That still’s been boiling since '29,
Ain’t no man gonna take what’s mine.
They came at dawn, thought they had him tight,
But the fire burned bright as he grinned that night.
He poured that shine right on the ground,
Lit a match and burned it down.
Smoke rose high like a ghost in the air,
Whiskey flames made the lawmen stare.
He rode off slow in the morning mist,
A legend now, forever missed.
He’s the last of the breed, a ghost in the trees,
Brewing fire in the hills on a midnight breeze.
Won’t bow down, won’t break, won’t run,
One last batch, then he’s done.
So if you’re out there on a lonesome ride,
And smell that burn in the midnight tide,
Raise a glass to the man so bold,
The last moonshiner, his story told.
