Are you trying to get out of a place of discouragement? Who are you relying upon to get you out of your place of discouragement? Tim Carscadden teaches about the passage in Luke 24:13-53, about the Road to Emmaus, and how we often find ourselves looking to someone other than Christ to solve our problems. The story of the 2 travelers on the Road to Emmaus who were discouraged leads us to examine our own lives and how we handle discouragements. As the travelers, we are to be encouraged in Jesus’ resurrection to press forward, share our testimony faithfully expecting an encounter in our lives and those around us.

As we listen to this message, let’s be receptive to having faith for God to encounter us for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit.
