The Mighty King Crab: Ruler of the Deep

Deep beneath the icy waters of the North Pacific, a true giant roams the ocean floor — the King Crab.

King crabs are among the largest crustaceans in the world. Some, like the Red King Crab, can weigh over 10 kilograms (22 pounds) and have a leg span of nearly 2 meters (6.5 feet)! Their hard, spiky shells protect them from predators, while their strong claws help them catch food and defend themselves.
