Here we finish planting the post we moved in part 1, and then we have to move another one off the homesite and up the hill, because there's a possibility of having the slab poured soon. Although the sizes are similar, there's a vast difference in the weight and how these timbers move. The first one is pine, and that's just a lighter wood, much lighter than the extreme hard wood of the second. The pine timber has also been cut down and drying for more than a year, and so there's a big disparity in water weight. And since we don't enjoy the benefits of heavy machinery or a large labor force, things can sometimes get really interesting...
