UPDATE 38.5: TECHROT ENCORE

The dancefloor is shaking and the crowd is screaming for more – it’s Techrot Encore! Our first major update of 2025 is here, and it’s got more new stuff than your dad’s record collection.

Welcome to the stage… Temple! The 60th Warframe is here to light up the scene with his Exalted Guitar Lizzie and his performance-ready Flare. Speaking of performance, protect the Temple as they take down the new Stage Defense mission in Höllvania! You’ll also be able to earn their Blueprints and more by taking down waves of Scaldra and a new enemy… the Scaldra Screamer.

The Höllvania Central Mall roster is growing with a new band of rogue Protoframes – find Minerva (Saryn), Velimir (Frost), Kaya (Nova), and Flare (Temple) at The Round Table pub! They’re bringing with them plenty of loot for you to acquire. Their fully voiced and customizable Gemini Skins and Emotes are also available for their respective Warframes. Want to learn more about them? Hop into your Pom-2 at your Operator Base and activate KIM! New conversations with them await at Ranks 4 and 5 with The Hex.

The setlist continues with Technocyte Coda, a new Adversary system featuring a multi-talented virus from the boy band Techrot, looking to terrorize the system with his infectious tap-dancing beats. Hunt them down to earn new Ephemeras, Dance Emotes, and more! There are also 13 Coda Weapons available for you to earn by trading Living Heart Cells from Expired Technocyte Codas to Eleanor.

Visit Kaya to enter Temporal Archimedea – a reimagining of Deep Archimedea with new mechanics, all set in Höllvania. Tasked with completing 3 consecutive Höllvania missions, each with different mission twists and risk variables, you’ll face off against the fiercest Scaldra and Techrot enemies in a challenging level. Give yourself a boost with Peely Pix, special stickers that you can apply to get a variety of unique effects that will help you overcome this Temporal test.

Update 38.5 is a major update!

This means that everything the team has been working on since the launch of Warframe: 1999 is in this update (with the obvious exception of content that is not yet ready for release). As with all Mainline updates, it is very likely that some things will slip through the cracks, so we will be keeping an eye on bug reports and feedback in the dedicated Techrot Encore subforums to address these in subsequent patches.

The End User License Agreement (EULA) may appear in the launcher even if you have previously accepted it. Nothing has changed in the EULA, you just need to accept it to proceed.
