On May 14, 2023, just four days after losing my father, I was deep in grief but found myself given a rare opportunity: to attend a live Mass celebrated by Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Basilica.
Though I am not Catholic, they say a blessing from the Pope carries a grace beyond words and in that moment, I needed it more than ever.
Now, with the passing of the Vatican’s beloved leader, the memory feels even more sacred. Some blessings truly stay with us forever. 🕊️
