What they Lost; Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked

They Lost Their home and their peace and most of all they lost fellowship with God and they got shame and fear?

Adultery - You Get a new sex partner? You lose Your family your self respect, reputation, and Worst of all your fellowship with God

Living Your life your own way, yes you do get what you want temporarily, but, it ends in a lake of fire. What You lose is fellowship with God, your mansion, wealth, and eternal life.
