Security forces intensified their crackdown on terror suspects after the deadly Pahalgam attack that killed 26 on April 22. Houses of three more terror suspects were razed in Shopian, Kulgam, and Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). This came after the houses of two terror suspects were demolished yesterday. Amid tensions over the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan again violated the ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control (LoC). Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump condemned the terror attack, calling it a “bad one”, and said that India and Pakistan will resolve the situation independently. US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard also backed India, saying “We are with you” in a social media post. Indian communities across countries are also protesting the attack.
