Film Production as Cover for Assassinations & Trafficking | Under Crystal Lake | Menace II Society

Warning: The material covered in this presentation is a bit dark. I learned some of these things not long before doing this presentation. I was having a hard time containing my outrage at what is going on. I drop a lot of F'Bombs the bad language throughout is way beyond normal for even me. If you are sensitive to this...skip to the next presentation that I did a week later. I needed time to process some of these things & this was me having 'just learned' some of the details. I knew Tom Bailie, a real man, who advocated for Nuclear 'Downwinders' near Hanford Nuclear Reservation where I partially grew up. Downwinders are victims of nuclear radiation leaks from the nearby Hanford Nuclear Reservation, considered one of the most toxic sites in the entire country.

For some reason I happened upon a little known film "Under Crystal Lake" (1991) that credited Kathy Taggares as "Special Collaborator”…Kathy & her hometown are nudged up right against Hanford Nuclear Reservation & her family has a ‘direct’ provable connection to my family via James Pettigrew who was in the Tri-County Producers (Alfalfa Hay Cubing) as Vice President to JP Taggares as the President. They hosted many politicians and ‘agents’ from Seattle despite being a remote location with very little to offer tourists…and on top of that, right next to the most toxic site in America.

Kathy Taggares is from Othello, WA near where the real Tom Bailie lived & owned a farm near PJ Taggares, the former business partner of my escaped child abusing grandfather James Pettigrew…again, all these people are just a matter of 10-20 minute drives from one another’s farms & operations, including my family’s which was in Eltopia, WA…our records connect to Taggares associates beyond my grandfather James Pettigrew.

What disturbs me about this is that the film, produced around 1989, constantly refers to a fictional "Tom Bailey" (instead of Tom Bailie with an IE) as a target of mafia intimidation over water rights & property...something that actually 'did' affect, in a slightly different way, the 'real' Tom Bailie.

There are several scenes in "Under Crystal Lake" that refer to 'sending a message' to Bailie, including a scene where a character is run off the road while discussing Tom Bailey in the film...as it turns out...someone was reported to have tried to run the 'real Tom Bailie' off the road for his Downwinder Victim advocacy work.

Tom wasn't always popular in an area where frankly...the only person who could possibly be anything like Mr. Swan...the villain trying to intimidate Bailey...was PJ Taggares himself...from Kathy Taggares' own family.

I feel like Kathy was far more than a 'special collaborator' on this film. This whole thing has echoes to the death of Detective Tommy Daughdrill in Macomb, Mississippi where they 'mirrored' the details of planning his assassination through a movie production (Menace II Society)...using real names of real people in the script that was allegedly 'unrelated'...yet, in a coded fashion, they are clearly directly related...

The real Tom Bailie & Detective Tommy Daughdrill are no longer alive. Bailie survived an attempt made on his life & Daughdrill...they tried not once, but twice & got him the second time...the details all scrambled in the screenplay of Menace II Society...in the case of Tom Bailie, there is very little shuffling of details...Tom was a real man & real people tried to intimidate him off his land & out of the area, largely for his nuclear downwinder advocacy work.

What was the real purpose of Under Crystal Lake?

Why was the Menace II Society script, create nearly one year ‘before’ the death of Tommy Daughdrill filled with ‘real’ details that later ‘actually happened’?

It feels like Under Crystal Lake might have been used similarly…where a group, plotting something, need an excuse to discuss the ‘real details’ out in the open without getting the attention of law enforcement…seems odd that Tom was actually being harassed, in the same fashion as the film shows, at the same time it was produces…very odd indeed.
