Kickboxer Anime

Kickboxer" (1989) is a martial arts action film starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as Kurt Sloane, a man who travels to Thailand with his brother Eric, a U.S. kickboxing champion. After Eric is brutally paralyzed in a fight against the ruthless Muay Thai champion Tong Po, Kurt vows to take revenge.

To defeat Tong Po, Kurt trains under a wise and eccentric martial arts master named Xian Chow, learning traditional Muay Thai techniques and discipline. As Kurt prepares for the ultimate showdown, he also contends with corruption, personal sacrifice, and a growing love interest with Xian’s niece, Mylee.

The film builds to a dramatic final fight between Kurt and Tong Po, where Van Damme showcases his iconic fighting style and slow-motion kicks. "Kickboxer" is known for its classic 80s action, training montages, and Van Damme’s breakout performance.
