A Risky Business: Building on a Mountain part 1

Our April 2025 work trip; we are expecting to meet with a concrete contractor, introduced by our excavator Glenn, who will hopefully give us an estimate on pouring a slab for our main house (and the incidentals such as digging footings, installing drains and water main, electric, etc.) I expect him to be put off a bit by the proximity to the embankment (spoiler alert: he will be), so we are hurrying to fix that bank in place before he gets here. Things will get a bit sketchy once or twice over these few days... No one was injured.
