Make Your Face Shine Upon Your Servant" – A Cry for Yahuah's Presence and Truth (Psalm 119:135–139)

This song is a heartfelt prayer based on Tehillim (Psalms) 119:135–139, calling for the shining presence of Yahuah — His nearness, favor, and life-giving light.
In Hebrew understanding, when we ask, "Make Your face shine upon Your servant," we are longing for Yahuah’s personal attention — His presence that brings light, peace, and strength. His "face" ("panim") represents relationship. When His face shines, the path is clear. When He turns His face away, we stumble in darkness.
📜 Shemoth (Exodus) 34:29-30 (BYNV):
"And it came to be, when Mosheh came down from Mount Sinai... that Mosheh did not know that the skin of his face shone since he had spoken with Yahuah."
Mosheh’s face literally radiated light after speaking with Yahuah — just like a pregnant mother’s face shines with new life within her. Being in Yahuah’s presence leaves a visible mark, a glow that cannot be hidden.
But Scripture warns of the tragedy when Yahuah hides His face:
📜 Deḇarim (Deuteronomy) 31:17-18 (BYNV):
"And I shall certainly hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they have done..."
📜 Tehillim (Psalm) 30:7 (BYNV):
"You hid Your face, and I was troubled."
This song is both a yearning and a lament — streams of tears for those who have forgotten His Turah, and a fiery zeal for His straight Words and Commands.
It is a call to walk in the light of His face once more and never stray into darkness.
🌿 May Yahuah shine His face upon us, revive us according to His kindness, and cause our hearts to cling to His Turah.
