Set Up for More [All Parts]

What Does the Bible Tell Us to Set Us Up for More?
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it MORE abundantly." John 10:10b
Accepting Jesus and following His ways sets us up for MORE! And if we don't know how... "The Lord will continually guide you." Isaiah 58:11 The Lord will continually guide us, if we but ask or listen to Him and His truths. We can have MORE now by asking for more of the Holy Spirit, which is comfort, power, truth, love, peace, joy, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23) Ultimately that MORE includes eternal life forever with God, Himself.

Specifically, how do you set yourself and family up for more? God has given gifts to everyone. How do we make sure and use them in our lives? The Frizzell family has internalized God’s teachings and scripture into their hearts, and applied it to their lives. With commitment to follow Christ, they see the goodness of God in their lives as the Lord’s doing. Parents, Mike and Marisa, have set themselves and their family up for more by surrendering to God’s will, then, it seems, what happens, happens without even trying on their part, as it is God at work.

Mike and Marisa are forever grateful their mothers set them up on a blind date! Now they tackle life and all the challenges that come along with busy schedules of two working parents and four children, all while seeking the Lord’s will for each family member.
