"Banned for life for harboring a member of Tren de Aragua in his home, we're talking about none other than a judge from New Mexico. His name: Joel Cano.

Thanks to social media, a photo surfaced showing an illegal immigrant illegally in possession of high-caliber firearms in a "casita," as it appeared in quotes and in Spanish. Behind the house, within Judge Joel Cano's property, alongside his stepdaughter, this member of organized crime.

We see that it's very common for politicians and also progressive judges to promote illegal immigration, but this goes a step further. However, justice, the law said enough — he can no longer serve."

Former New Mexico judge Joel Cano and his wife, Nancy Cano, were arrested for allegedly harboring Cristhian Ortega-Lopez, an illegal Venezuelan immigrant and suspected member of the Tren de Aragua gang, at their home in Las Cruces.

Ortega-Lopez, 23, was found living in a guesthouse on the Cano property and was arrested in February 2025. Authorities linked him to the gang through tattoos, social media posts, and text messages.

Firearms associated with Ortega-Lopez were also seized from the home of the Canos’ daughter.

As a result, Joel Cano resigned from his judicial position in March 2025 and was permanently disqualified by the New Mexico Supreme Court from holding any future judicial office.
