Close the gap. Train control not just range

The gap between your Passive ROM and Active ROM is where injuries happen.

Passive ROM is how far a joint can go with assistance—like in a stretch.
Active ROM is how far you can move that joint on your own, with control.

If you can passively reach a position, but can’t actively control it, your body is vulnerable—especially under load or during explosive movements.

For combat athletes, that gap could mean the difference between a smooth transition… or a torn joint.

Close the gap. Train control, not just range.
