U.S. Army to buy 50-caliber long-range sniper rifles

Barrett Firearms Mfg. Inc. has received a contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command for the delivery of M107.50 caliber long-range sniper rifles.
The contract, announced Tuesday by the U.S. Department of Defense, is worth more than $7.9 million.
