Join us for a journey through the breathtaking 118-acre Ruth Oliva Preserve!

Named in honor of Ruth Oliva, a dedicated environmental activist and former Southold Town councilwoman, this pristine nature sanctuary is a testament to her lifelong passion for preserving Long Island’s open spaces and natural beauty.

Come along as we wander scenic trails lined with lush oak, juniper, and cedar trees, and soak in stunning views of Dam Pond’s sandy shores. The preserve is home to vibrant species like prairie warblers, scarlet tanagers, Baltimore orioles, and winter waterfowl such as buffleheads and red-breasted mergansers.
