The marathon's 26.2-mile course remains largely unchanged since its inception in 1981. Runners will begin in Greenwich, passing notable landmarks such as the Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, London Eye, Big Ben, and concluding near Buckingham Palace on The Mall.
