Russel Hickson: it's an interesting idea, but wouldn't that stop 2nd mortgages for the average joe in many cases?
Daniel K: That’s not quite how it works. They aren’t putting up “unrealized gains”. They are putting up the actual stocks and or property. Think margin loan or even a heloc. Besides that, I’m fine with the plan.
Chris B: My favorite is when they argue to raise taxes because rich people exploit "loopholes" to avoid paying them.
