Adolf Eichmann was a Obersturmbannfuhrer (Lt. Colonel) in the SS, who was driven by his passion of his hatred of the Jews and his love for Der Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler. Eichmann was quoted as having said that upon his death he would leap into his grave with joy knowing that he had murdered 6 million Jews. After Germany's defeat, Eichmann disappeared and his whereabouts were unknown.
It was later revealed that Eichmann had fled to Buenos Aires, Argentina, via the Odessa 'rat line,' with false identification papers that gave him Argentinian citizenship, with a new name of 'Ricardo Klement.'
