Pro-Palestinian demonstrators confronted Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir

On Wednesday evening, April 23, 2025, Pro-Palestinian demonstrators confronted Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir during his visit to Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. As Ben-Gvir exited a speech at the Shabtai center, protesters threw water bottles at him and his entourage. In response, Ben-Gvir made a “V” sign towards the crowd before retreating back inside the building.   

Approximately 150 to 200 protesters had gathered outside the venue, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans such as “Free Palestine” and “Shame on you.” The demonstration was organized in opposition to Ben-Gvir’s policies and his role in the Israeli government’s actions in Gaza
