The Entire Solar System is a Fairy Tale

Think about how ridiculous the concept is of the moon constantly slowing down and then speeding back up. Think of it like this. Imagine a truck was driving in the middle of a 5 lane highway at 67 mph. A car comes up from behind and decides to circle the truck using the two outside lanes. The car must speed up rapidly to pass the truck and then move in front and then over to the outside left lane. Now the car must slow down rapidly to allow the truck to move back in front and to go across to the outer right lane. Imagine doing this over and over. Now imagine a rocket with astronauts blasting off into space at 18,000 mph. If the earth is moving 67,000 mph, what will happen?
