Geralt and Vesemir arrived in White Orchard, following whispers of Yennefer's presence in the area. There, they learned from Nilfgaardian Captain Peter Saar Gwynleve that Yennefer had indeed passed through—but the price for that information was steep: a griffin had been terrorizing the roads, and the captain wanted it dealt with.

Geralt investigated the creature’s nest, uncovered the reason for its aggression, and set a calculated trap. With Vesemir's help, the griffin was defeated, and the captain revealed that Yennefer had gone to Vizima. But before the two could even leave, Yennefer herself appeared, commanding Geralt to accompany her for a royal summons.

On the road to Vizima, the reunion was cut short when the Wild Hunt’s spectral hounds attacked—but Geralt and Yennefer survived the ambush. Once in Vizima, Geralt was brought before Emperor Emhyr var Emreis, who requested his aid in a matter of grave importance: his daughter Ciri was missing, and the Wild Hunt was closing in.

Geralt agreed to the task. With Yennefer at his side, they prepared to begin the search. Geralt’s next destination: Velen, with plans to reconnect with Triss Merigold and uncover the trail left behind by the Child of the Elder Blood…

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Polish: Wiedźmin 2: Zabójcy Królów) is a 2011 action role-playing game developed by CD Projekt Red, based on Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy novels.
