Fire and Blood

From the album “TRUTH”.

It doesn’t begin with war.
It begins when truth starts to disappear.

At first, it’s softened. Then it’s revised.
Eventually, it’s erased.

Right becomes negotiable.
Conscience gets replaced with slogans.
Justice is reshaped to serve factions.
Freedom is granted only to those who comply.

People don’t seek understanding anymore.
They’re trained to take sides.

The fight is no longer between good and evil,
but between those who claim to be good,
each with a flag, a cause, a list of enemies.

Identity becomes ideology.
You’re not who you are. You’re what you repeat.
Loyalty is virtue.
Silence is betrayal.

Even the righteous fall.
Movements turn on their founders.
Today’s heroes are tomorrow’s targets.

When freedom threatens the cause,
freedom dies.

The past is erased.
Dissent is punished.
Mercy is weakness.
Eventually, no one remembers what the fight was about.
All that remains is vengeance, rage, and fire.

This song begins at that final stage.
When flags fall, systems collapse, and
no one is left to justify the destruction.
Only ashes. Only ruin.

This is what happens when conscience dies.
This is Fire and Blood.
