Truth

In every generation, truth is tested.

Sometimes it’s ignored.
Sometimes it's mocked.
Sometimes it’s rewritten by those who benefit from its silence.

We live in a time when lies are celebrated as progress.
Shame is branded as pride.
Conviction is called hate.
And history is torn apart so that power can write new myths.

Children grow up not knowing what’s real.
Right and wrong blur into opinion.
Justice is hollowed out, performed, but no longer pursued.

We fight over borders, flags, and ideas that no longer mean what they once did.
But few fight for truth itself.
Because truth doesn’t flatter.
It doesn’t adapt to fashion.
And it doesn’t serve ambition.

But truth is not gone.
It lies waiting, bruised but breathing, beneath the noise,
beneath the propaganda,
beneath the ruins we mistake for thrones.

You can’t kill it.
You can only forget it, until it returns,
stronger than before.

This song begins in that tension,
a world drowning in confusion,
yet haunted by something older,
something pure,
something that still dares to call itself true.

This is not nostalgia.
This is not resistance.
This is Truth.
