Sheldon Oil Painting

This is an oil painting of our newest family member Sheldon. I tried to focus on three things while painting this, painting white fur, saturation, and temperature.

Top 10 list for beginning painters or someone having trouble seeing colors: (list in progress, still working on a couple)
1. Proper lighting
2. Learn the basic color wheel
3. Keep your palette simple
4. Don’t be afraid to try new things
5. Find artist you like and follow them on their social media
6. Don’t compare your work with anyone else, compare it to work YOU have done in the past.
7. Be honest with yourself
8. Try to avoid using black
