As of April 2025, the K3 Zipline near Caledon in the Western Cape, South Africa, holds the title of the world’s longest zipline. Stretching over 3.2 kilometers (approximately 2 miles), this exhilarating ride allows thrill-seekers to reach speeds between 120 to 150 km/h, depending on weight and weather conditions. The journey begins with a scenic 4x4 drive to the departure platform, known as “The Nest,” from where riders experience a descent with panoramic views of the Overberg mountains.
