By declaring Oscar Jenkins status as a Ukrainian soldier the Australian Government is effectively washing it's hands of Jenkins like Pontius Pilate absolving themselves of guilt and responsibility in the matter.
⚡️By refusing to negotiate a prisoner exchange Penny Wong and Anthony Albanese have abandoned Oscar Jenkins to face 15 years in a Russian gulag.
