Joe Biden gave a press conference on April 15th, known as Tax Day in the States, in which he described how his family had come from Baltimore. Yes, the man they yanked out of the running for president joined in the braying noise of leftists led by Obama to have a "day of action" to save Social Security.
Well, isn't that special. Old Joe, whose family comes from the same stomping grounds as Nancy Pelosi's mob family just couldn't stay on script, or speak intelligibly for a carefully cultivated, and likely paid, crowd of enthusiasts who seemed to not have work or school on a Tuesday. Imagine...being enthusiastic about Joe...and it was some "award ceremony" that nobody cared about, or knew about in advance...it was the type of display that, if it didn't go well, just wouldn't ever make the mainstream media news...but if they could slice it up well enough, and add wind noise, then they could excuse needing to put the text over the video so everyone could understand what he was trying to say.
What a joke.
And this day of action is to save a program, Social Security, that the Trump administration and the President himself has said, are not targeted for reductions...legitimate citizens who've paid into the system their whole lives will get what's been promised. Will those who don't belong in that system benefit? probably not. And isn't that the way it _should_ be? Because if you poll the Leftists in America, who, can't let the orange man win anything, they don't stand for anything but whatever the opposite is of what Trump's doing. And that lands them clearly in the margins where they cannot win majorities any more. When something that MOST Americans agree with comes along, they should realize that they should work WITH the President for wins for their constituents, explaining why it is commonsense... They still don't seem to understand why the United Auto Workers, a major labor union and routinely in support of Democrat policies, are throwing their support behind Trump and his tariff agenda, because they refuse to be educated, they refuse to share the truth, they refuse to look at history, they reject anything that is Republican in nature...to be the right course. They paint their lot as existential, and they aren't wrong...because they stand for nothing, so only the weakest-minded, most ignorant, or those with the most to gain, still support their party and its communist-leaning ideologies.
This idea that Social Security is going to burn is a classic straw man argument...Chuck Schumer and his fooligans might as well be circling the maypole before going to burn down the wicker man in hopes of a good crop...they've left all logic and reason, and have moved completely into magical thinking, ignorance and fiction.
This week there were videos of what Americans would recognize as Congressional hearings. Our representatives in Washington grilling an important figure in order to get to some truth so that passing a law will make sense. And while the appearance of Mark Suckerberg to defend Meta was a real thing, some of these "hearings" were not real.
They're being labeled "shadow hearings."
