2-D Branded Pokémon Games Would Solve All Their Problems!

Pokémon is at a crossroads of sorts; it is trying to stay afloat on the newest hardware and expand their ideas, (and crushing under the weight of that) while not straying too far from the established formula fans grew to love! How do we fix this? I'll tell you! A dedicated line of "2D" Pokémon games to purposefully emulate the older style of games... I mean the other Nintendo mainstays have been doing it for years, where they put out games specifically designed to look and play differently, so why not their more profitable cousin? (Also shoutout to the amazing 2DS system!!)
